Maryland Oral Health Plan 2026–2030: A Roadmap for Continued Progress
This webinar, Maryland Oral Health Plan 2026–2030: A Roadmap for Continued Progress, held on September 29,2026, provides an overview of the plan’s development, key findings, goals and strategies, and opportunities for stakeholders to get involved in implementation. The Maryland Oral Health Plan, 2026-2030 provides a roadmap for improving oral health and advancing oral health equity across Maryland over the next five years.
In addition to MDAC staff, speakers include Dr. Debony Hughes, Director of the Office of Oral Health at the Maryland Department of Health, and chairs of the committees that helped develop the Plan, including Robyn Elliott, Dr. Toyin Fatogun, and Dr. Dushanka Kleinman and Alice Horowitz.

Veteran Oral Health Virtual Road Tour: Maryland
During this June 2, 2026 webinar, Maryland Dental Action Coalition partnered with the American Institute on Disparities in Public Health on the Maryland “stop” of the Veteran Oral Health Virtual Road Tour. This one-hour session was designed to empower state-based stakeholders to illuminate gaps and identify solutions for Maryland veterans and their oral health.

Webinar: 2025 Maryland Session - MDAC Address Dental Workforce Shortage
This April 23, 2025 program discusses MDAC’s 2025 legislative package centered on workforce development, which addressed gaps in access for children, underserved communities, and Medicaid participants and how you can help us continue this valuable work. The program also included reflections on the current state political climate, and future opportunities to continue to improve oral health in Maryland.
