Debony Hughes, DDS
Dr. Debony Hughes is the Director of the Office of Oral Health, Maryland Department of Health. Dr. Hughes received her DDS degree and certificate in Advanced General Dentistry from Howard University College of Dentistry. She is a fellow in the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists.
Dr. Hughes has served on the board of the Maryland Dental Action Coalition and has provided testimony for oral health legislation to both the Maryland State legislature and the United States Senate.
Dr. Hughes is married to Attorney Leroy Nesbitt, Jr and has two daughters, Nina and Malayna.
