Celeste Camerino, DDS

Dr. Celeste Camerino is the Oral Health Program Coordinator for the Charles County Department of Health Dental Program.  She graduated from the National Autonomous University of Honduras and got her degree in Doctor in Dental Surgery in June of 2002 and established her own private dental practice for 5 years.   In Honduras, Celeste was a volunteer Dentist for 1 year for PREPACE a Rehabilitation Program for Children with Cerebral Palsy.  This center provides dental care to children and families enrolled in the program.  She was also a member of Peace Honduran Dental Mission, where she volunteered yearly with US based dental missions that travel to Honduras to provide free dental care to indigent and impoverished communities. 

She moved to the United States of America in 2006 and settled in Maryland.  Dr. Camerino is a member of the Judy Center and Southern Maryland Tri County advisory committee, the Maryland Oral Health Association, the Maryland Dental Action Coalition and the Partnership for a Healthier Charles County; in here she is member of the Access to Care, Chronic Disease and Cancer team.  She is also a current volunteer for the Southern Maryland Mission of Mercy project and volunteer at the Maryland 4-H extension office in Charles County.
