Reopening Dental Offices

During a May 6 press briefing, Governor Hogan announced that health care providers will be allowed to resume elective procedures on May 7, 2020. His order affects all health care providers, including dental providers.

Providers must follow the guidance outlined in the Department of Health’s guidance on PPE, social distancing, and screening.

MDAC applauds Governor Hogan and his public health team for putting the safety and health of Marylanders first during the COVID-19 epidemic. We are thankful that our state has reached the point where it is safe for Marylanders to get dental care and other needed health services.  Thank you to all the health care providers and first responders that have helped Maryland begin to flatten the curve.
